Not making the pilgrimage to San Diego Comic Con? Join us at Packrat instead! Come experience the fun and camaraderie of Comic Con without the long trek across the country at our annual Not At Comic Con celebration starting at 10am on July 22, 2017.

Phillip Hester - Phillip Hester has been writing and drawing comics for nearly three decades, beginning while still a student at the University of Iowa. After a period of toiling in the burgeoning world of black and white indie comics, he broke into the mainstream with a long run as artist of DC’s Swamp Thing with writer Mark Millar. At nearly the same time, he wrote and drew the Eisner Award nominated series The Wretch. In 2001, Phil drew Kevin Smith’s revival of DC’s Green Arrow. He wrote the original graphic novel The Coffin with artist Mike Huddleston, which was optioned for a feature film by James Cameron. At Image Comics, he created Firebreather with artist Andy Kuhn, which became an Emmy-winning television feature for Cartoon Network
His work, as both artist and writer, has been featured in hundreds of comics from nearly every major American publisher, and includes runs on such titles as The Darkness, Wonder Woman, Ant-Man, Ultimate Marvel Team-Up, Nightwing, Invincible Universe, Batman Beyond, The Flash: Season Zero, and his current Image project Mythic with artist John McCrea. Phil lives in rural Iowa with his family.
Pat Olliffe - Patrick is a veteran comic book illustrator with over 25 years of experience, working for such publishers as Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and Disney. His long list of credits include Untold Tales of Spider-Man, Spider-Girl, Thor, Captain Marvel, X-Men Gold, 52, The Atom, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman: 52 Aftermath The Four Horsemen, Catwoman, Barb Wire, plus The Avengers, Captain America Joins The Avengers and The X-Men for Disney’s Marvel Press. He is thrilled to be working with Adam Glass on Aftershock’s Rough Riders!

Darryl Banks - Darryl Banks who had nearly a 100 issue run on Green Lantern in the 1990's. He's the co-creator of the ever iconic character Kyle Rayner and designer of Parallax, Grayven, Fatality, Dr. Polaris and Dr. Light costumes! Whew, that's a lot of stuff!
Ren McKinzie - Ren McKinzie is an art dedicated soul with many disciplines. A wild child for certain, Ren honed his work ethic in the US ARMY and his artistic skills at CCAD. Ren's many years in the arts field have culminated in the freelance artist he is today.
Dirk Manning - "Tales of Mr. Rhee" & "Nightmare World" creator & writer, Dirk Manning's haunting tales have been whispered through the halls of Image Comics, Devil's Due, Caliber Press, Aspen and Big Dog Ink.
Rashid Hill - And in this corner, MMA (mixed media artist), Walking Dead & Game of Thrones licensed artist, Rashid Hill, he has the unique capability to design multi-verse walkers.

Frank James Bailey - Frank James Bailey is a voice actor and a writer from Lima, OH. You can hear his voice on Disney Dark Secretes or 107 Facts about Pinky & The Brain on the Channel Frederator YouTube channel. As a published author he wrote 2 family friendly illustrated novels about a female superhero. Tercona: Book 1 - Our New Home and Tercona: Book 2 - Dr. Q & The Banana Gun.
