As the For the Love of Hilliard event approaches, we at Packrat Comics are excited to be at the heart of this incredible community celebration. On September 7th, we’re opening our doors for a day filled with activities, creativity, and fun for all ages.

Here’s a sneak peek at what we have in store for you:

Special Guests: We’re thrilled to host an amazing lineup of local talent who will be joining us for the event:

• JD Larabee: A talented caricature artist, JD will be here creating on-the-spot caricatures for visitors. This is your chance to take home a fun and personalized piece of art that captures your unique personality with a touch of humor.

• Jambo's Creations: Known for their unique and handcrafted items, Jambo's Creations will be on-site with a selection of their most popular products. Perfect for finding that one-of-a-kind piece to add to your collection.
• Fuzy Frog Fur Suits: If you’re a fan of cosplay or just curious about the craft, you won’t want to miss Fuzy Frog Fur Suits. They’ll be displaying their incredible fursuits, and you might even get some insider tips on how they bring characters to life.

• Tom Williams: An artist with a passion for fantasy and intricate storytelling, Tom Williams will be showcasing his captivating artwork. Whether you’re drawn to richly detailed illustrations or imaginative character designs, Tom’s art offers something truly unique. Stop by to chat with him about his creative process and pick up a piece that resonates with you.

• Boy Scouts Popcorn Sale: Support our local Boy Scouts as they sell delicious popcorn.

Activities for All Ages: We’ve planned a variety of activities to ensure there’s something for everyone:

• Bounce House: Kids can jump to their heart’s content in our bounce house, making it the perfect way to burn off some energy while parents explore the event.

• Coloring and LEGO Play Tables: Creativity knows no bounds! We’ll have tables set up with coloring sheets and LEGO bricks, allowing kids (and adults) to let their imaginations run wild.

• Board Game Tables: Gather your friends or make new ones at our board game tables. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or a newcomer, you’ll find something fun to play.

Special Sale: Of course, it wouldn’t be a Packrat Comics event without some great deals! We’ll be offering a 15% store-wide sale, so it’s the perfect time to pick up those comics, collectibles, and games you’ve had your eye on. (Excludes Legos and TCG singles.)

Food Drive for Hilliard Food Pantry: Help us support our community by bringing non-perishable food items to donate. Your contributions will make a big difference for those in need.
